It was the Winner at the Siren Awards in the Craft radio advertising category.
Technical direction, voice recording and direction, sound editing and mixing by Paul Baxter.
Paul’s years of experience in audio post production have brought some interesting voice direction and voice recording opportunities his way. Some of which were recordings under water, during a sky dive, in a bucket of water, and this one… in a MIG jet.
He recorded the radio ad at 8,000 feet from a jet with Ditch Davey as the voice talent.
Stanley FatMax wanted a way to promote their new MIG hammer. To hammer the point, they came up with a promotion through which customers could win a flight in a MIG jet to the very edge of space in 2012.
Here’s a video of the recording.
